After the initial set-up, many lawyers and consultants do not offer ongoing support and systems. Both EXB Legal and Franchise Generator offer ongoing support and have systems, processes and documents in place to support you and manage your documentation with franchisees and your ongoing needs.

The franchisor's legal requirements does not stop after setting up the precedent legal documents. EXB Legal offers a fixed fee system for managing each franchisee's legal documents, and that fee can be built in to the upfront fee that you charge franchisees.

We offer a full service for franchisors to set up their franchise legal documentation. This is for fixed fees so that you can budget effectively with no surprise invoices, and can meet and speak with us freely.

Some businesses are tempted to franchise on an "informal" basis at first, rather than having the cost of setting up the franchise professionally from the start. This is generally a false economy and if set up wrongly, your arrangements could be difficult or expensive to undo or could lead to the failure of the network to expand or worse still to litigation, disputes or early terminations.

We will draft a complete suite of legal documents for you to use with franchisees, including setting up a three-part system of confidentiality deed, deposit agreement and then main franchise agreement to maximise your protection. In total, we provide you with more than 15 documents, which includes variations to ensure that you have covered the different trading entities that franchisees may use (for example to cover the situation where a franchisee uses a limited company).
